Frequently Asked Questions
Things People Ask Before They Book
Brainstorming quickly produces a list of obvious ideas. The MultipleMind Method produces a Brilliant Idea through a structured five-stage process that takes your brain through the specific cognitive states required for genuine breakthrough thinking. The environments change, the techniques change, and the type of thinking required changes. It is as different from brainstorming as a professional training programme is from a team meeting.
No. And in fact, people who think of themselves as ‘not creative’ often get the most from the method — because they arrive without fixed ideas about how ideas are supposed to happen. Creativity is not a personality trait. It is a skill that can be systematically developed. The MultipleMind Method is the system.
You do. Completely and entirely. Every participant at The Brilliant Ideas Day signs a mutual NDA before the session begins. The ideas you generate in the room belong to you. Steve, Cilla, and Creativity Rooms have no claim on them whatsoever. For team engagements, the same principle applies: all intellectual property generated in a session belongs to your organisation.
Maximum sixteen. This is deliberate. The depth of engagement the method requires — and the quality of the Crowd Mind it creates — demands intimacy. Sixteen people is enough for genuine diversity of perspective; few enough for every voice to matter.
Yes, although the in-person experience is significantly more powerful, primarily because of the environmental design.
Bowen Therapy, delivered by Delbert Skeete, is a gentle, non-invasive physical therapy integrated at a specific transition point in the day, at the boundary between Investigation and Inspiration. It supports the neurological shift from high-Beta (intense analytical focus) to Theta (the receptive, insight-ready state). Participants consistently report it as one of the most distinctive and effective parts of the day. You don’t need to know anything about it in advance. Just arrive.
The book gives you the complete method, the techniques, and the understanding. The workshop gives you the experience — the actual environmental journey, the facilitated process, the Crowd Mind of other people working alongside you, and the support of the facilitators at every stage. They are complementary. Most participants who’ve read the book first say the workshop made the book make sense in a completely new way.
